Although it was easy to like Kathy and Tim when we met, they scored even more points when they informed me that they were scuba divers. It wasn’t a surprise that they wanted to have some of their portraits done on the coast. We began their session around Petco Stadium, then dashed off to La Jolla’s Wipeout Beach to take advantage of the sweet late afternoon light. Although they were a little tentative about being photographed, all inhibitions seemed to disappear once they wrapped themselves in each other. I had to keep wiping the steam from my lens!
